Top 5 Air Travel Apps in Europe Q1 2022 Performance

In the first quarter of 2022, the top air travel apps in Europe showed diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the top 5 apps:

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting at around $94K at the end of December 2021 and peaking at nearly $180K in early March 2022. Weekly downloads surged dramatically mid-quarter, reaching over 1.2M in the week of February 21. Active users also experienced significant growth, climbing to over 2M in the same week.

Ryanair maintained a steady weekly revenue around $150 throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads showed a positive trend, peaking at approximately 221K in late March. Active users increased from around 780K at the end of December to over 1.1M by the end of the quarter.

easyJet: Travel App recorded a steady increase in weekly downloads, rising from about 48K at the end of December to over 107K by the end of March. Active users also showed a positive trend, growing from around 420K to over 610K during the same period.

Wizz Air - Book Flights experienced consistent weekly downloads, starting at approximately 55K and reaching around 79K by the end of March. Active users increased from about 270K to over 310K throughout the quarter.
